It’s funny of how some things make you realise how little self-discipline you sometimes have.
Almost every day im thinking, would it really be bad if I didn’t publish a blog today? Well, no, it wouldn’t really change anything on that particular day. But then it wouldn’t be a daily blog. And we all know the slippery slope of skipping one day, then two days, and before you know it you haven’t published anything in 6 months.
So why should I do it? Because I can.
Because I can choose to do it, even if I suck at it. Even if I feel like I don’t have anything to say. I can show myself that I can make that decision for myself.
Self-discipline is a muscle. You should do hard things as a habit, just because you can. And over time, maybe they won’t be as hard, maybe they will. But you will never know until you’ve tried.
